Thomas Bellinder

“Do good work and get good results.” Born in Kansas and raised in Brandon, Mississippi, Thomas Bellinder has a Bachelors degree in Arts from Belhaven College in 2003, a Masters degree in Social Sciences from Mississippi College in 2005 and a Juris Doctorate from Florida International University in 2008. 

While in law school, Thomas was a member of the FIU Board of Advocates from 2006 through 2008.  He was a member of FIU’s Zehmer Mock Trial Competition Semi-Finalist trial team in 2006, and a member of FIU’s first-ever AAJ Trial Competition Southeast Regional Championship trial team in 2008.

He has been licensed to practice law in Florida since 2009, Mississippi since 2009 and Washington, D.C. since 2010.  Thomas specializes in civil litigation, with the focus of his practice in Civil Rights, Personal Injury, Medical Malpractice, Criminal Defense and Premises Liability.  He has played a role in maintaining Sweet & Associates’ multi-million dollar law practice, and served as third-chair trial counsel during the firm’s $23 million dollar jury verdict in the Archey v. CP Jackson, LLC, et al. case.
